Konvella on your iPhone
You are on a computer
Point your iPhone camera at this, or open konvella.com/ios in Safari on the phone. The steps below are done there.
Wanted the desktop app instead? Download for Windows.
Three taps and it is on your Home Screen — a real app icon, opening full screen with no browser around it. No App Store, no account with Apple, nothing to approve.
Open KonvellaThen add it, so it stays:
-
Tap Share
The square with an arrow coming out of it, at the bottom of Safari.
-
Choose “Add to Home Screen”
Scroll down the list — it sits below the row of apps.
-
Tap Add
The icon appears on your Home Screen. Open it from there from now on.
Why it has to be Safari
- Only Safari can add an app to the Home Screen on iOS. Chrome and Firefox on iPhone cannot — Apple does not allow it.
- If you are reading this in another browser, tap the address bar, copy the link, and open it in Safari.
What works, and what does not
- Works: messages, voice and video calls, files and pictures, groups, themes.
- Does not work: screen sharing. Safari on iOS has no way to capture a screen, so that stays a desktop feature.
- Calls reach you with the app closed, once you have allowed notifications — a banner arrives and opening it puts you into the call. It will not take over the screen or play a ringtone the way a phone call does, because iPhone does not let a web app do that.
